Awana (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) is an awesome program centered around scripture memorization, team games and fun! We meet on Wednesdays from 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm.  The club meetings are divided into three parts:  Game Time, Handbook Time, and Council Time.  In our Game Time, clubbers enjoy exciting circle games unique to Awana.  Handbook Time is where clubbers work through their handbooks memorizing Bible verses and complete other Bible-related activities.  Council Time is where clubbers are celebrated in their achievements as they earn awards from their handbooks and participation.  We have 3 Awana Clubs ranging in ages from 3 years to 6th grade. Our goal is to equip children and their families, with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.
See you on Wednesday September 3rd at 7pm!!

The Cubbies curriculum features two handbooks written in a fun, storybook style that appeals to preschoolers. The handbooks contain 24 Bear Hug sections along with six optional special-day sections. Each section combines basic Scripture memory with parent-child activities to help a child grasp a simple biblical truth. Two extra-credit handbooks containing additional memory verses and character-building activities are also available.

Based on Bible memorization, this program for Sparks and Truth & Training, helps kids (and the leaders!) build a solid foundation of faith principles that will help them grow into the man and woman of God they are meant to be.  Building a foundation is time consuming and can be tedious. Not in Awana!  Each week every child is challenged to complete discoveries and jewels at their own pace with the possibility of receiving a handsome reward from the treasure chest.  Our program is in three segments:

Game Time: Circle games that are exclusive to Awana based on teamwork
Handbook Time: Bible memorization and workbook challenges
Council Time: Reward(s) are given for that week as they earn their discoveries and jewels.
